Training
Isle of Sheppey Sailing Club is a recognised RYA Training Centre, for training enquiries email iossctraining@outlook.com
Courses are run by our volunteer instructors. we can offer training in Dinghy Sailing, and Power Boating. Boats and safety equipment are provided as part of the course. Membership of the club for the rest of the year is complementary for dinghy sailors, following their training. Junior dinghy sailing takes place on Saturdays in June and July, sail with our instructors and attend assessments for RYA certificates. All applicants for sailing instruction need to be able to swim 25 metres. click Subscriptions to join.
Training has now finished for 2025, the courses for 2026 will be announced in the new year.
For our 2025 season we have 2 new RS Zest training dinghies sponsored by Minster on Sea Parish Council.
