Training
Isle of Sheppey Sailing Club is a recognised RYA Training Centre, for training enquiries email iossctraining@outlook.com
Courses are run by our volunteer instructors. we can offer training in Dinghy Sailing, and Power Boating. Boats and safety equipment are provided as part of the course. Temporary Membership of the club for the rest of the year is complementary for adult dinghy sailors, following their training.
Juniors need to be a club member, to sail with our instructors and attend assessments for RYA certificates. All applicants for sailing instruction need to be able to swim 25 metres. click Subscriptions to join.
Junior training in 2026 will be Saturday afternoons 12.00-16.00 June 6th, 13th, 20th, and July 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th. Cadet Week 11th -15th August.
For our 2025 season we had 2 new RS Zest training dinghies sponsored by Minster on Sea Parish Council.
